Sometimes Quotations just hit the nail on the head. This quotation is one of those instances. I love this Rosie quote.

Elegant Pink Necklace

I just uploaded this new necklace to my etsy. It is inspired by a fellow Etsy Seller, Chinnasa. When I saw a few of the designs of these two sisters, I was inspired. Although their designs are chunkier, I was inspired to create something similar, but more elegant. This beautiful, elegant piece is a result of that inspiration. I love how feminine it is.

The necklace is made using pearls and glass czech glass teardrops.It is 22 inches in length, so it will look beautiful even on a larger woman. The clasp is a Filigree Floral Pearl Clasp with Fish Hook.

My New Style: Large Chunky Necklaces for the Larger Woman

My new style lately has been large chunky beads. I love the way that they look and I found a good source for vintage plastic beads. By using large plastic, wood, and other lightweight materials, I am able to create long necklaces without the weight.

Being a plus sized women, I am always looking for longer necklaces, but I hate when they are heavy. Heavy Necklaces cause neck aches and headaches. These large chunky necklaces show up well on larger women and make a powerful impact.

I have posted some of them for sale on my Etsy, but I am always willing to make custom orders. Also, I am always willing to take ideas or suggestions. I love color suggestions, too!

Howard Wang's China Grill

Howard Wang's China Grill features a wide range of delicious Chinese food. The beef in the Beef and Broccoli stir-fry is tender and delicious. For a different twist try substituting the Broccoli for the Snow Peas. For a dish with a little kick try the Jalapeno stir-fry. The Spring Rolls are handmade and especially scrumptious. The peach sauce they serve on the side is a sweet treat.

Howard Wang's uses all fresh ingredients. They have the traditional Chinese cooking styles, but also unique specialties such as Jalapeno stir fry and Vanilla Prawns. For those of us who are watching our waistlines or for those vegetarians, Howard Wang's offers Steamed Veggies in a Bamboo Steamer and Brown Rice.

For those of you on a budget, I recommend going for the lunch specials(11am to 4pm Daily). The lunch prices include choice of soup and choice of either a crab wonton or spring roll. Their spring rolls are delicious and home made. Parking can sometimes be difficult, so if you have trouble finding a space park in the back. There is an entrance in the rear, but you will be entering on the 'to go' orders side, so you may have to walk through the restaurant to the front in order to get seated at a table. Kim and Kendall are their two best servers at lunch!
